Problem

The company quickly identified a number of needs for those looking to rent an apartment in Costa Rica, such as that all the options for finding properties on the internet are usually very basic and with very simple search filters. They do not usually show all the detailed information about the apartments, which does not allow effective purchasing decisions to be made with little data, and the user experience in these applications is very unintuitive, which results in users becoming demotivated when looking for the property of their dreams and/or delaying their search process.

Solution

Our solution starts by working closely with the client to understand their goals and objectives. We implement design flows that facilitate navigation through rental options, allowing users to customize their searches according to their preferences. In addition, we developed a recommendation feature that uses advanced algorithms to suggest properties based on the user's search history and preferences.

Results

As a result, we created an innovative application that meets the needs of users and fulfills the stated objectives. The PartaRentals application allows users to share properties with their acquaintances, save their favorite options to view them again and compare two or more properties to make better decisions. It also has a referral system, where users who complete the rental of a property or have referred users who perform this action can earn points that will allow them to enjoy discounts for their next transactions.
